Description
Hunsdon JMI is a small, village school with 112 pupils on roll at present. Our most recent Ofsted (November 2018) graded us as Outstanding and praised the passion of the staff and governors for their commitment to ensuring that pupils thrive. The same report went on to describe our pupils' behaviour and their attitudes to school as "excellent" and that they displayed "great enthusiasm for learning". Whilst the report makes very pleasant reading, the most important thing is that we remain a happy, relaxed and confident team, who love working together at Hunsdon, and take pride in making a positive difference to the lives in our care.
Rather excitingly, from September 2024 we are embarking on a new adventure in our federation with Widford School. The two schools will run as separate establishments for a year before combining as a one form entry school in September 2025, working across our two delightfully rural sites.
