About the role
Offley Endowed Primary School are seeking to appoint a part-time 1:1 assistant for a pupil in Key Stage 1. The candidate should ideally have experience of working with children with autism or special needs, including relevant qualifications and training.
You will be joining 'Team Offley' working in a supportive and nurturing environment, alongside a team of experienced, nurturing and fun professionals. Although the role will be principally supporting an individual pupil, you may be required to work with other groups or individuals.
Offley Endowed is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Background checks and an enhanced DBS will be required.
This role is initially for a fixed term of one year beginning in September 2024. The role may be extended beyond this date, depending on the child's educational setting. Please contact the school for additional information regarding this role.
