After School Club Manager

Salary - H4 (£23,893 pro rata)

Start date – 2nd September 2024 (Possible July start date dependant on availability)

We are looking for an enthusiastic After School Club Manager to join our friendly and supportive school. There will be the potential for some flexible additional hours to support teachers in school with resources/displays and some in class support if desired/appropriate. 

If you would like to work in partnership with colleagues, to provide the best care and support for our happy, inquisitive children, we would like to hear from you.

The hours for After School Club are 2.45-5.45pm Monday to Friday, term time only. Any successful applicant who has children attending our school will be entitled to a free place for them at Breakfast and After School Club.  The After School Club starts at 3.10pm and finishes at 5.30pm.  The club operates two sessions with the first finishing at 4.30pm (max 30 children) and the late session finishing at 5.30pm (max 15 children). The late (4.30-5.30pm) session is also accessed by children from Hobletts Manor Junior School.

If you would like to work in partnership with colleagues, to provide the best care and support for our happy, inquisitive children, we would like to hear from you.  We are open to applicants who would only consider part time as a job share arrangement.

We are looking for people who:

  • Enjoy being with young children
  • Are flexible and reliable
  • Have a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Have a minimum of level 3 or equivalent Early Years qualification or willing to work towards one.
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a sense of fun and enjoy supporting children to learn through play
