About the role
We are looking to appoint a Technician to support the Design and Technology Department according to timetable requirements on a 30-35 hours per week contract. We would be willing to consider job share or alternative working times.The Technician provides practical support across the whole Department in all aspects of its work including:
- Assist teachers with the D&T practicals;
- Support students in their D&T practicals;
- ·Organisation and preparation of materials and equipment to support practical classroom based activities;
- Order equipment, materials and teaching aids;
- ·Cleaning and maintenance of the equipment to a very high standard;
- Undertake reprographics and clerical duties for the Design and Technology Department.
