About the role
Yorkies Daycare is a registered charity providing wrap-around term time and school holiday care for children that attend the Outstanding York Road Nursery School in Hitchin.
We are looking for an experienced practitioner with a Level 3 Childcare qualification or working towards it, that can demonstrate a willingness for inclusivity and an understanding of how to support 3-5 year olds, we would love an adaptable, friendly, compassionate person who is willing to use their own initiative and have an impact on our lovely children's learning through implementing opportunities for children to learn through play.
It is a busy, stimulating environment that requires a team member who has initiative and energy! We can offer continued personel development opportunities, a non contributory pension scheme and a wellbeing package.
Yorkies Daycare is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share in this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure Barring Service.
