Commenting on the forthcoming teacher recruitment fair, Anne Taylor, Head of Recruitment Services at HfL said:

“We are pleased to build on our annual recruitment fairs by bringing this new event to the Central and East Herts area. This is one of many events and initiatives that Herts for Learning is investing in and delivering during this academic year, to provide the very best recruitment support for Hertfordshire schools.
“With HfL operating with a non-for-profit ethos, these events are a way to reinvest in the common good for our shareholding schools and address a key issue that schools across Hertfordshire are facing.
“The education sector is facing a recruitment crisis and we recognise that this is the number one challenge that schools face, not only in Hertfordshire but nationally.
“At Herts for Learning, we want to support our shareholding schools in finding and retaining high-quality teaching staff, by assisting them with the recruitment process and providing excellent training and development opportunities for staff at all levels of their teaching careers.”
