About the role
Our children and young people at Lonsdale tell us they want an Assistant Headteacher who knows them as individuals, is committed to and passionate about how and what they learn, and truly believes they can do even more. Our students want to try everything, no holds barred. Their Assistant Headteacher will be someone who helps them to set targets, monitors their progress, celebrates their success and encourages them to reach for greater heights in all areas of their development. In return, you’ll be part of a busy and happy Lonsdale community where children, parents, staff and governors work closely alongside each other.
We’re a school with a focus upon innovation and development in education in its broadest sense. This means you can expect our full commitment to your professional development and for us to value you as an educational professional with a child-centred philosophy.
We’re a lively, contemporary and warm-hearted school. To find out more about us take a look at our website, www.lonsdale.herts.sch.uk it’s all there for you. If you like what you see we would love to hear from you.
Our students would like you to visit their school and we’ve set aside Monday 1st April from 10am until 12.30pm, and Tuesday 2nd April from 10am until 12.30pm for you to have a tour with our students and meet key staff. Please book your unique visit to Lonsdale School by emailing PA to the Headteacher, Jo Brush, firstname.lastname@example.org
