£20,344 - £22,462 plus £608 outer fringe allowance pro rata.

We are looking to appoint a non-teaching Assistant SENDCo who is committed to ensuring all students with SEND achieve their full potential. The successful applicant will be experienced in the field of education with additional relevant qualifications and skills (although a teaching certificate is not necessary), and will have high expectations and be able to inspire and motivate students.
You will work collaboratively with the SENDCo to help run a busy SEND department and manage a team of committed staff. You will need to be up to date with best practice in SEN provision and be willing to help carry out assessments for access arrangements.
The Assistant SENDCo will assist the SENDCo to ensure that the correct provision is put in place to ensure students have full access to the curriculum and in doing so, provide the students with every opportunity to succeed.
