Before/After School Club Assistant

Salary H2 (spinal point range 03-05 £18,887.04 to £19, 650.00 full time equivalent)

Start date – as soon as possible - preferably by Tuesday 7th June.

We are looking for smiley, enthusiastic before/after school club assistants to joinour friendly and supportive school with the potential for future extension of the role into the main school if desired/appropriate.

 If you would like to work in partnership with colleagues, to provide the best care and support for our happy, inquisitive children, we would like to hear from you.

The hours for Before School Club staff are 7.30-8.45am and the hours for After School Club are 3.00 – 5.45pm but we are happy to employ more than one member of staff to cover these hours flexibly.

We are looking for people who:

  • Enjoy being with young children
  • Are flexible and reliable
  • Have a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Have a minimum of level 2 or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a sense of fun and enjoy supporting children to learn through play
