About this Role

We are currently looking for a part-time Business Support Assistant to work alongside the School Business Manager.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate:

- Advanced proficiency and experience using Word and PowerPoint

- Ability to produce high-quality documents using Word and PowerPoint and design packages with an eye for design (or desire to learn)

- Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills

- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both orally and in writing

- Ability to operate effectively as part of a team

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Commitment, enthusiasm and energy

- A positive, calm and friendly manner

- A ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to work flexibly between fluctuating priorities is essential

Hours: The role is for two days per week (14 hours) - which can be worked flexibly by mutual agreement

Weeks per year: term time plus inset days plus 1 additional week in the school holidays (days by agreement) - 40 weeks

Annual leave paid: 5.8 weeks

Total paid weeks: 45.8 weeks per year

Grade: H4 SCP6 - SCP9

Full Time annual pay: £25,889 - £27,115 - paid pro-rata for 15 hours p/w

Actual pay per annum: £9,244 - £9,681
