About the role

Bernards Heath Junior School is looking to appoint a reliable and dedicated Caretaker to work part-time, as part of a job share with our Site Manager.  This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible, practically minded person with recognisable DIY skills, common sense and the ability to work on their own initiative.  The successful candidate would need to take pride in their work, have a good sense of humour and work well as part of our outstanding school team.  We are ideally looking for someone who may have trade skills or school site experience.

The post will be part of a job share for 18 hours per week, which includes school holidays, with the negotiation of additional hours to suit the needs of the school regarding out of hours lettings.  Preferred hours: 07:30 am to 10:30 am and 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm Mondays and Tuesdays, plus 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Wednesday afternoons.  Working hours during the school holidays will be flexible.
