About the role
Are you looking for a new challenge as either a Caretaker or Site Manager? Mount Pleasant Lane JMI School has a vacancy for a full time (37 – 37.5 hours per week) Caretaker (H3 - £16,781 - £17,772 pa for 37 hours/£17,008 - £18,012 pa for 37.5 hours) or Site Manager (H5 - £19,430 - £21,268 pa for 37 hours/£19,693 - £21,555 pa for 37.5 hours), depending on skills and experience and level of responsibility. Training and support from an experienced management team will be provided as required.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Keeping the school site safe and secure
- Carrying out regular health and safety checks
- Undertaking general maintenance and repairs.

We are offering this position as a single shift, which will require opening of the school in the morning at 7.00 am and then being on site until the end of the school day at 3.30 pm for 37.5 hours (3.00 pm on Friday for 37 hours). These hours include a one hour unpaid lunch hour. We are also offering the opportunity to take some holidays during term time.
