About the role
Do you love teaching? Then we really want you on our team!
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and creative class teacher to join our fantastic team, covering maternity leave in our mixed Reception/Year 1 class.
Applications are welcomed from candidates interested in either a full time or part time post. The start date has some flexibility and could be from November/December 2020 or from January 2021, until the end of the summer term 2021.
St Ippolyts CE Primary School is a well-resourced, popular school in a beautiful rural location on the outskirts of Hitchin, enjoying strong partnerships with the local community and other schools.
We work hard, are very committed and our wonderfully-behaved children love to learn and have fun. As well as their teacher, our Class 1 children are very lucky to have a full time Nursery Nurse and full time EYFS Practitioner so you would be part of a warm and welcoming team.
We are a Church of England VA School and as such the successful candidate would be required to support and promote our ethos centred on Christian values.
The best way to find out more is by seeing us in action; visits can be arranged – please telephone the office for an appointment and to receive our Covid Visitors Protocol. Alternatively the Headteacher is happy to have a telephone appointment if you prefer; email directly on email@example.com
In the meantime, take a look at our website to get a flavour of what we’re all about: www.stipps.herts.sch.uk or see our school Facebook page.
To apply for this post please complete the Hertfordshire application form. Applications can be made in hard copy to the school by post/hand, online through www.teachinherts.com or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, marked ‘Confidential Application’.
Closing date: 9am Tuesday 6th October 2020
Interviews: Friday 9th October 2020 (arrangements TBC; interviews may be remote or in person)
St Ippolyts Primary School is committed to the safeguarding of all children and the appointment is subject to enhanced checks and references.
