About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our team of dedicated staff at our forward thinking, creative school.
If you are a highly motivated and passionate practitioner we would like to hear from you. We have an extremely strong team of staff here at Cuffley who really do go the extra mile for each other and the children alike. Our emphasis is on our staff working together as a team and relying on each individual’s specific strengths and appreciating everyone’s input. If you are an NQT, you will benefit from an experienced Mentor and dedicated release time as well as a strong support structure across the school. We are also part of the Wroxham Teaching Alliance which provides excellent training opportunities as well as Hertfordshire NQT induction programme.
Cuffley School is a 2 form entry primary school in the village of Cuffley surrounded by the rolling English countryside and woods with extensive grounds of our own. Our designated “Forest School” provides excellent learning opportunities to enrich their learning experience. The school also benefits from a specialist PE teacher, music pods and a nurture base.
At Cuffley, we are committed to our ‘Learning to Learn’ agenda. We believe that instilling a love of learning in children will provide them with the skills they need for the future. Along with this philosophy, we seek to provide an encouraging and nurturing environment, where each child is supported to make the most of their individual strengths and to reach their full potential. This also applies to our staff.
Cuffley School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and other employment checks. References will be requested for those who are shortlisted.
