About the role

This is an exciting time to join our friendly team at St John's as we start our third year of our School Development project with the majority of changes and developments firmly established.  We have invested a significant amount of money in to improving our school facilities and resources, as well as embracing the latest developments in technology.  You now have the opportunity to join us and to be part of our success story.

Are you someone who is flexible, organised and has a good understanding of the National Curriculum?  You will need to have the confidence to cover classes throughout the school as well as being well equipped to follow our Behaviour Policy so that our children are supported and nurtured in line with our high expectations.  It will be essential that you will be an effective team player as you will be need to work closely with a variety of Teachers and Teaching Assistants throughout the week.

*At St John’s, honesty and transparency is important.  Therefore, please note that the salary advertised is based on full time hours and a 52 week contract – actual take home will be pro-rata with the contract being 43.3 weeks and a 35 hour contract.  In addition, the contract is fixed term for the first year (until July 2020) but there is the possibility that this will be made permanent with a review of the position and responsibilities taking place in advance of the next budget.
