This is an exciting opportunity to develop the role of a support staff lead in the Sixth Form team.
Our non-teaching Deputy Head of Sixth Form works closely with the Head of Sixth Form to ensure the ongoing success of our students. They will deliver many of the academic coaching sessions as well as monitoring attendance and punctuality. In addition we have a Sixth Form administrator who staffs the Sixth Form office, deals with student enquiries and assists with the running of events. The Sixth Form team works very closely together to ensure the smooth running of an excellent Sixth Form.
Joining the School as Deputy Head of Sixth Form will be extremely rewarding as it is a versatile role covering both pastoral and academic responsibilities. The interaction with students, including those in leadership roles such as the prefects, allows for a lot of job satisfaction and the interaction with other middle leaders as part of the ongoing monitoring of students allows for professional discussion and development.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated professional to be part of an outstanding key stage.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and are an equal opportunities employer. Applications must declare any criminal convictions and submit to a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as the post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
