About the role
As a result of our previous Deputy Headteacher achieving promotion to Headteacher, the children, staff and governors wish to appoint an innovative and caring Deputy Headteacher to join our strong leadership team at our popular one form entry primary school.
The successful candidate will work alongside our Headteacher in leading the school forward to continued success. Initially, this post will be part class based/cover (Upper KS2) with 2 days dedicated Deputy Head time.
We are looking to recruit:
- A dynamic and inspiring senior leader who has experience of working in more than one school and across at least two key stages
- To provide consistently good or outstanding teaching and lead the quality of teaching and learning
- Be an excellent role model for staff and pupils
- Liaise effectively with parents, staff, governors and the wider community
- A confident individual, who is able to lead effectively in the absence of the Headteacher
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
