About the role
We are keen to extend our school's team of support staff and have a vacancy for a DSPL High Needs Worker. Applicants should be caring, flexible, show initiative and be able to work as part of a team. They should have excellent communication skills with parents, external professionals and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the needs of young children. Previous experience of working with families in need of support is required, together with a Level 3 qualification or equivalent. The working hours are 35 per week, 8.30am to 4.00pm (including half hour lunch), Monday to Friday, term time (38 weeks) plus an additional 2 weeks during the school holidays.
