About the role
Hertfordshire's DSPL (Delivering Special Provision Locally) 1 (Hitchin, Royston, Baldock and Letchworth) are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking Delivery Manager to work in collaboration with the DSPL1 Lead for SEND, The Lead School for DSPL1's Headteacher and the Administrator for DSPL1. This team is committed to Special Educational Needs and has the enthusiasm and energy that is required for such a role.
The suitable candidate will be able to develop and deliver a consistent, co-ordinated quality response across all schools and educational settings, in order to improve the support and outcomes for children and young people with SEND and their parents. They will have an educational background and have a passion for inclusiveness.
We are looking for someone with a strategic mind and for someone who is confident to chair meetings and demonstrate leadership skills when leading groups and forums.
The focus is for all children and young people aged 0-25 years with SEND and therefore the ability and/or willingness to transfer skills across age ranges will be required although experience in all age ranges is not expected.
The role will be mobile working across different sites, with a main base at 'The Cabin' in the grounds of Wilshere Dacre Junior School in Hitchin. The candidate will need to own their own car and will be provided with a mobile 'phone and laptop. Travel costs will be covered. The role is for 14 hours a week, term time only. The 14 hours are required to be flexible across the week and the successful candidate needs to be able to manage their own time and diary.
