About the role
Are you experienced at working with and supporting children? Are you determined to make a difference to children's lives?
We are building a strong dynamic team who are delivering educational excellence, embedded in Christian values, to the children of central Watford. St John's C of E Primary School opened in September 2016 and in September 2018 we moved to our permanent home, which is a brand new building on Clarendon Road. We are thriving and from September the school will have two forms in each of Reception, Year One and year Two and one form in each of Years Three and Four.
The role will involve being part of the team of Eagle Play Mentors supervising pupils in their lunchtime period while eating and playing. St Johns prioritises calm lunchtimes. Currently, due to COVID-19, our lunchtimes take place in our dining hall for Reception and classrooms for all other years. We are looking forward to the future when all our children can return to family style dining.
Our school vision and ethos means that you could be part of something very special in the heart of Watford. All our staff work in partnership to support the best outcomes for children and this involves a flexible approach.
