About the role
Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and collaborative team? If so, Galley Hill could be the perfect place for you.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, effective and inspiring Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1 teacher who is passionate about teaching and eager to make a difference to every child. As a school, we put the children at the centre of everything we do and we would love to hear from you if you reflect this ethos.
Our well-resourced, two form entry school offers a vibrant learning environment with collaborative approaches to teaching and learning. All teachers have dedicated PPA time along with their year group colleagues. Our Early Years' classes are expertly supported by a team of highly experienced Early Years Practitioners and all other classes have the support of well trained Teaching Assistants. In addition, we are committed to the continuous professional development of all of our staff.
The job role is a full time, permanent position beginning in September 2019. Due to the flexibility of our current staff, we are able to accomodate those interested in teaching Foundation Stage or Key Stage One. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers or from those wishing to begin their NQT year. We offer a comprehensive support and development programme for Newly Qualified Teachers.
We are very proud of our school so visits are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school office to arrange an appointment on 01442 406000 Contact - Mrs Mandy Aldwinckle.
We reserve the right to interview and appoint before the closing date. Apply early to avoid disappointment.
Galley Hill Primary School and Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to suitable references, medical and DBS checks in accordance with Herts County Council guidelines.
