About the role

Welcome to Weston Way Nursery.  

We have a rare opportunity to join our Weston Way family where we are proud of our 'Home from Home' ethos.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about education in the early years and has the desire to make a real difference to the lives of young children through the core provision.

The key person will be responsible for ensuring that every unique child has access to a warm, nurturing, safe and enabling environment promoting our school aims: 

Happiness, Opportunities, Magical moments, Engagement

This will entail playing with children for extended periods of time both indoors and outdoors, undertaking observations, feeding assessments into the planning cycle in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and adapting provision across the curriculum for all children.

The successful applicant must be at least NVQ level 3 in Early Years trained and have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in childcare.  Please see the job description and person specification for further details.

We are committed to the professional development of our staff and their well-being.  We have two Mental Health Leads (staff/children) and a supportive Governing Body.
