The gap between the achievement of our children in care and that of other Hertfordshire children is wide. We are looking for a dynamic professional to take on this exciting role working in the Primary and Early years phases with schools, settings and partners to narrow the achievement gap for this group.
Providing advice and support on effective teaching and learning strategies to teachers, social workers and carers, you will help raise aspirations and narrow the achievement gap so that children looked after can make accelerated progress.
The post holder must be a qualified teacher with at least 5 years of teaching experience. Senior leadership experience with a track record of proven excellence will also be essential. Experience of working with children looked after would be a strong advantage. A current driving licence will be required.
