About the role

We believe in a collaborative approach to providing the best opportunities for our children so that they become academically and emotionally well-rounded, resilient young people with a mindset that will allow them to grow as individuals long after they have left us.

We are looking for a passionate, experienced Early Years teacher to lead the EYFS in our friendly school. You will be working in a purpose-built Reception unit with exciting resources and a fabulous team. You will have high expectations, an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum, a creative approach and a sense of humour!

We will be able to offer you a supportive team-teaching approach, a well-resourced school and hard-working children whose behaviour was recognised as 'outstanding' by OFSTED.
Applications should be made on-line via the TeachinHerts website, giving details of experience and curriculum strengths.

Start date September 2021.

Please contact the Headteacher, Ben Parry  to discuss the post further or to arrange a visit. Closing date for applications is 9.00am Monday 12/4/21.

All staff and volunteers commit to the safety and welfare of children. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an ISA and enhanced DBS check.

Lordship Farm School is a popular and successful, large primary school on the south eastern edge of Letchworth. Ofsted found us to be a good school with outstanding behaviour and safety of the children. Our children are well motivated, eager to learn and their behaviour is exemplary. Our staff are friendly, supportive, hardworking and dedicated to providing the best for our children. Our staff demonstrate a 'can do' attitude. We work closely with our parents who are very supportive of the school and enjoy our 'open door' policy. The school expanded to become a two-form entry school in September 2013, with two brand new purpose built classrooms. We have spacious 'open plan' classrooms with interactive whiteboards, an ICT suite and class sets of ipads, a separate dining hall, extensive grounds and a floodlit, astroturf sports pitch. We believe in educating the 'whole child' and offer a wide range of music, sports and arts activities as well as excellent inclusive education. We actively work to develop our children's skills as learners through the use of the principles of 'Building Learning Power'.
