About the role

We are looking to appoint a friendly and caring HLTA to join our supportive team. The post is?33.5?hours per week Monday – Friday 8.30-4.00pm plus one hour per week to attend a staff meeting - term time plus 5 inset days. 

The successful candidate will?hold a HLTA status or equivalent and will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated to making a difference to children's learning. You will need to enjoy working with children and be passionate and committed to helping children develop as independent and confident individuals. 

This role will involve the HLTA working with class teachers to support learning in class and by leading intervention groups. You will be teaching in class to release teachers for planning, preparation and assessment, short term illness or to attend meetings. 

You will need to have a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (C or above) and a high standard of written and spoken English
