About the role
Kimpton Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational, friendly, flexible and enthusiastic HLTA to join our dedicated team. If you have high expectations, believe that learning is an exciting adventure and have the desire to secure the best outcomes for every child, this is the job for you.
We aim to inspire our children to become independent learners who are engaged by the learning opportunities we create. We do not set limits on children's learning and are committed to approaches that reflect a Growth Mindset. The successful candidate will have experience of working across the primary age range, have a good understanding of inclusion as well as safeguarding and be able to work collaboratively with a range of teaching staff to ensure that lessons are engaging and challenging.
This is a full time position with regular PPA cover timetabled each week but also unplanned cover may be required including covering training days and our well being promise of all staff to be given the day off for their birthdays. We are looking for someone to start before the Christmas holidays so that there can be a strong handover from our existing wonderful HLTA who will be retiring at Christmas.
Visits are warmly welcomed and encouraged - we would be delighted to show candidates around the school so please telephone the school office to make an appointment.
To arrange a visit, discuss the role further or to request an application pack, please telephone Mrs. Bev Caner in the office on 01438 832394 or email email@example.com
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and staff and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be required to have an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
If you would like to be part of our journey, we would love to hear from you.
