About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team at Meadow Wood School for pupils with physical and neurological impairments You will support our special needs students' learning in the classroom throughout the school day. A warm and friendly nature and a calm and patient approach are important.
Experience of working with pupils who have special educational needs/learning difficulties would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.
Meadow Wood School has established the Sunflower Federation with Breakspeare School. This vacancy is to support children at Meadow Wood School, however staff may be required to work across the Federation.
The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8.30am-3.15pm, Thursday 8.30am-4.30pm (additional hour for staff training) = 31.25 hours per week Term Time Only
The salary range for this post is H3.1-H3.4 £19,312 to £19,698 pro rata.
The post is to start ASAP (one position is to cover maternity leave for 1 year)
