The Links Academy Outreach Team is looking to appoint an Outreach Worker to deliver a range of intervention services in local primary and secondary schools to support a variety of difficulties. This is a rewarding and challenging role that focuses on enabling progress across all areas of development and giving every child the opportunity to achieve their potential.
Proven experience working directly with children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties is essential for this role along with:
A desire to work with children of all ages, behaviour management skills, a sound knowledge of BESD and the ability to engage these students, an empathetic approach, excellent time and case management, strong written and verbal communication skills, working knowledge of support agencies, a team ethos and a full, clean driving license and own transport.
