About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for working with children and the outdoors. You will be required to take on the role of a keyworker, supporting the children’s learning and development in line with our curriculum, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and using In the Moment planning.
A relevant Level 2 or 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent is desirable, but not essential.
You will be required to work term time, 3 days per week for the following hours:
Monday: 7.45am – 2.30pm
Thursday – Friday: 7.45am – 1.00pm
Equalling 16.75 hours per week.
This position is for maternity cover and is on a 1 year contract with potential for it to become a permanent contract.
Start Date: 11th September 2023 or as soon after this date.
Rate of pay: £10.42 - £15.00 per hour, dependent upon experience and level of qualifications. You are paid on a pro rata basis monthly.
There are occasions where you would be required to work overtime to meet the needs of the preschool, maintain safeguarding regulations and for meetings, parent consultations and training. Prior notice is given for this.
