About our school:
Jupiter Community Free School (JCFS) is an exciting, ambitious and innovative school, which opened in September 2014. We have been set up as a free school, which is funded directly by the Government and run by highly skilled Trustees as a Primary Academy. We currently have 214 children on roll, across Reception, Year 1, 2 & 3. We are excited to be making a further step towards our journey of reaching full capacity of 420 children in 2020.
We actively recruit both NQT’s and experienced teachers, seeing them as the future of teaching and leadership.
We aim to develop ‘the whole child’, placing a huge emphasis not only on academic development, but also on the skills needed for life. We nurture children to develop their resilience, working from a virtues programme that helps them to become respectful members of their local and the wider community.
We are looking for new teachers to help further maintain and develop our high expectations and standards within Key Stage One across all areas of the curriculum. You will be based both within classrooms and working with small groups in our intervention programmes. We wish to provide ‘a better future’ for all of our families, with parental engagement being at the forefront of everything we do. We foster children’s independence from the very beginning, helping them to grow not only as individuals, but also as part of a team and family.
