About the role
Redbourn Park is a school for children with a primary need of autism, but also have other complex needs. Most notable, this includes anxiety, and demand avoidance but every child is very different and has had a complex and challenge school experience, requiring a huge amount of support, care and when ready, expert teaching.
We opened in 2021 and opened our second site this year. We have a third site planned which will take our age range from 7-14 to 7-16, bringing in exams and qualifications. Our capacity is currently 24 and a third site will take this to around 40. This creates opportunities for experienced staff to join our expanding team.
We have an excellent team, with a widely varied amount fo experience. What really stands out and makes a role at redbourn park work is being a really good person and having a huge amount of empathy and care for those you work with.
This role is ideally for an experienced business manager who is looking for flexible hours and can bring a wealth of experience to this quickly growing organisation. We have high aspirations for the future, with the schools going from strength to strength.
As a small school the role includes a number of different duties, including but not limited to:
- Supporting the CEO / directorate with day to day duties
- Business compliance
- Managing invoices and bookeeping
- Planning and tracking budgets
- Financial management and planning of new projects (new schools)
- Resource management and planning
- Recruitment co-ordination & compliance
- HR support
