Birchwood Nursery School is a state maintained nursery school, catering. for children from 2 to 5 years. Governors play an important part in overseeing the running of the school in the interests of the community it serves – they provide strategic leadership, and hold the headteacher to account for pupil and financial performance. Nursery education lays the foundations for a child’s learning journey and the governors share the staff's commitment to ensuring a bright start to a brighter future for all children in the setting.
The governing body meets six times a year at 6pm on a Thursday evening. There are two Governor in School mornings, where governors come in to school as a group to carry out core monitoring of school priorities. You may also have a specifice subject area link.
