About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to lead Inclusion in our wonderful school, who has experience of working with children with a range of additional needs and has a good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice. This will be Maternity cover to start in September 2018 with the potential of a permanent post in our school in the future.
Cranborne Primary School is a highly inclusive school that is committed to all children achieving the highest possible standards in all aspects of their lives and to helping them reach their potential in each area of the curriculum.
The candidate will be a self-motivated and inspiring individual who will effectively manage and lead SEND provision in our school. Ideally you will hold (or working towards) the National SENCO qualification or will have experience of leading on Inclusion.
You will be working in a positive and friendly environment where staff well-being is a priority. We pride ourself on our staff enjoying coming to work every day and the staff room being a place full of laughter - a good sense of humour is a must!
