About the role
Kimpton Primary School is looking for a hardworking, committed, motivated and trustworthy individual who can take pride in looking after our village school and be part of our community.
Our new site manager will take pride in our school and ensure that the environment is a safe, clean and tidy and secure environment for children, staff, families and visitors. They will participate fully in all aspects of the life of the school, maintaining good relationships with all stake holders.
The role will require you to use your initiative, work under pressure and be flexible with a problem solving approach. Suitable applicants will be skilled and experienced in DIY, good practical skills and general maintenance, and able to use their initiative. There will be an element of lifting and carrying in the role.
You will be liaising closely with the Headteacher on health and safety within the school, ensuring that the school is complying with current health and safety legislation/guidelines.
You must be a good motivator and communicator, ensuring that staff work together as a team. You will be able to prove previous health & safety knowledge, have basic computer skills, your own transport and be reliable, competent and trustworthy.

This position is a 25 hour part time post and involves a split shift of 7:30 – 9:30am and 3:00 – 6:00pm, although, at times, there will need to be flexibility. This is a 52 week role, with 25 hours per week in term time, and hours to be agreed in the school holidays.
