About the role
Teacher of Art & Design
MPS/UPS + London Fringe Allowance
Required for two terms, January – July 2021
(With the possibility of a permanent post for the right candidate)
Full or part time
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, engaging teacher of Art & Design to join our vibrant department. Art plays a major part in the life of the school, with exhibitions of A-level/GCSE work and annual trips to London Tate Gallery. The successful candidate will need to be an excellent teacher, with a desire and ability to teach both Fine Art GCSE and A-Level, ideally with sculpture as a specialism. They need to be willing to contribute to the extensive extra-curricular programme. The department of two is well equipped with a Kiln room and A-Level studio space, which has an installation room within it for A-Level collaborative work.
This post could equally suit a newly qualified teacher, or someone with more experience, looking to join an ambitious department.
