About the role

The Sele School's aim is to provide an excellent education in a supportive learning environment, where every student leaves us with the qualifications, skills and attitude which will secure a bright future in whichever area they wish to pursue.  We pride ourselves on ensuring that everyone is respected and their contributions to the school community are valued and celebrated.

Students are at the heart of all we do.  Our curriculum is student-centred, and we aim to inspire, stimulate and challenge in equal measure.  Our staff are highly-skilled, passionate and committed and always strive to ensure that every single child is engaged, excited and challenged by their learning experiences.  Our goal is to empower students so that they are able to enhance their life chances; develop independence and consequently take control of their own future as a result of their Sele School experience.

We want our students to develop critical thinking skills and gain confidence in their own ability to succeed in the modern world.  We expect our students to be kind and tolerant and have the drive and confidence to strive to be the best they can.  We value extra curricular experiences in the arts, sports and culture and see these as complimentary to their academic studies in becoming well-rounded balanced adults.

A vacancy has arisen for a teacher of PE and Dance.  You will need to be an excellent teacher who has the vision, energy and drive to improve standards of achievement and outcomes for all students, even further.

The Sele School is committed to safeguarding children and young people and all post holders are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS clearance and appropriate references.

Visits to the school are encouraged.   Please contact Mrs Hobley to arrange a visit.
