About the role

Would you like to work in a happy and successful 3 form entry Junior School? (Outstanding Ofsted 2009) You will work alongside parallel year group teachers and thus share the planning, challenges and the joys of teaching with experienced colleagues. Our children are delightful and our parents and governors are very interested and support the values of the school. You will be joining a lively and enthusiastic teaching team who value and support each other.

This post could suit a recently qualified teacher as the school provides outstanding mentoring and induction for teachers in the early stages of their careers. It would equally suit someone with more experience.

Prompt applications are encouraged as the school reserves the right to close the advert should we feel able to appoint an appropriate candidate.

Applications will only be accepted if completed using the approved HCC online application forms; hard copies of downloaded application forms are also acceptable. A short cover letter is also acceptable. CVs will not be considered.

Please ensure that the referee section of the form is completed fully, stating the referee's email, phone number, full name, job title, and name of school or company. You must include your current and most recent Head teacher. Please ensure that you have sought the permission of your referees to use their names.

All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS clearance.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and we invite you to view our website. In current circumstances, visits to the school are possible, and the Headteacher would also be happy to talk to you on the phone. To arrange a phone call to talk to the Headteacher, please contact Mrs Pat Hague on 01727 856262. Interviews will be in person.
