About the role
We are seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs in EYFS. The post is a fixed term contract, until end of term, July 2020, with the possibility of extending. The post will be for 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8.45am - 3.15pm with a half an hour unpaid lunch break, term time only). Experience of working with children with special educational needs, in particular children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, is a necessity.

Sandon School is located in a small rural village with just under 100 pupils. There are four classes in our school: Reception, Year 1 & 2, Year 3 & 4 and Year 5 & 6. We also host an independent pre-school; Sandon Cygnets. Our pupils come from the villages of Sandon, Wallington and Rushden and surrounding Hertfordshire towns and villages. We believe in developing the whole child in order to enable all of our students to reach their full potential.
