We are looking for a TA with a passion for making a difference to join our team. The post advertised is for a class-based teaching assistant, but there is the possibility of a pastoral role for the right candidate. We are embarking on a new stage of our journey and this is an exciting time to join us. We strongly believe in the importance of welfare and safeguarding our children and people who work with our children are subject to our rigorous enhanced DBS checks and two references, checked.
The applicant will be responsible for supporting our teachers and inspiring children with complex learning disabilities, all of whom have cognitive disabilities. Many of our children have Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD). The successful applicant will intially work with classes of mixed ages and will likely work with children across the school’s full age range.

The role is 5 days per week, 33¾ hours – 8:45 to 4:00 (4.30pm Wednesday and 3:30pm Friday), term time plus 5 INSET days.
The salary is H2-H3 (pro rata) approx £13,693 - £13,976 per annum.
