About the role
Hartsbourne is part of the Bushey St James Trust and we pride ourselves on being a nurturing school with high expectations of our staff and pupils. We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised teaching assistant; capable of providing effective support for individuals and/or groups of learners. The successful person must be a good communicator, able to use their initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Some experience of working with young children an advantage; regular training opportunities will be provided.
Our pupils are well behaved and love to learn! This highly rewarding position includes providing support to children during Breakfast Club and across their lunchtime, ensuring pupils are safe and happy in the classroom, dining room and playground.
Applicants should be educated to a minimum of GCSE standard (including maths and English) or an equivalent and have a high degree of common sense.
