We are seeking a Youth Worker to support the social development and educational outcomes of our students, particularly those who are at risk of becoming disengaged with society and education.
You will deliver youth work-based projects and programmes and will be supported in establishing stimulating and challenging new initiatives, in partnership with young people. You will work in group settings, in one-to-one settings with identified individuals, and with parents and other relevant stakeholders and organisations.
You will have the ability to quickly establish positive and credible relationships with diverse groups of young people, to respond flexibly to their needs and to the priorities of the school. You will act as an advocate of young people and their interests, within the school’s overarching pastoral and educational provision.
In return Goffs can offer you:
- a forward looking, positive, and oversubscribed working environment
- the opportunity to work with professional, committed, and ambitious colleagues
- outstanding, highly personalised professional development opportunities across the Generations Multi Academy Trust
- a school described by Ofsted as being one where “students work together exceptionally well,” and where “students are overwhelmingly enthusiastic about school”
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain access to an exclusive range of benefits, including free use of the gym at Goffs Academy, priority student admission to schools in the Trust for your child after 2 years’ service, and a generous cash incentive employer referral scheme.
Please contact the HR Department, on 01992 624375 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
Closing date for applications: 9.00am, Wednesday 2nd February 2022
Interviews will be held: Week beginning 7th February 2022
The school is committed to safeguarding children and young people.
