Guidance for completing your application

These guidance notes have been put together to help you complete your application form. Please read them carefully, along with any other information supplied by the school, before you start.

The Teach in Herts application forms are available to download below:

These forms are in PDF format and can be completed electronically using Adobe Reader. If you get a message along the lines of “this PDF can’t be viewed directly in the browser”, this is because some browsers may not be able to display the interactive PDF. To open it you can right-click on the link and “Save target as/save link as…”, then open it from wherever you have saved it on your computer. Some schools prefer candidates to complete the school's own application form rather than the standard Hertfordshire school application form. If this is the case the schools’ application form will display when you apply for a job.

Catholic application forms

Some Catholic schools in Hertfordshire require applicants for posts to complete Catholic Education Service application forms, so it is advisable to contact the school to check which form it requires.
