Teach in Herts is the dedicated recruitment platform for Hertfordshire's schools and educational settings, and is managed by HFL Education, a not-for-profit schools’ support company.

Our site was originally created in 2001 in response to a need for teachers and later grew to include recruitment of all staff involved in the smooth running of a school as well as other educational and childcare settings. Today over 700 schools, trusts and settings use this self-service platform as their primary recruitment resource to advertise vacancies across four main job categories:

  • Teaching

  • Leadership

  • Early years

  • Professional & support

On average over 50,000 job seekers visit Teach in Herts every month.

The one-off annual subscription fee enables you to create a ‘microsite’ to showcase your setting and post unlimited job vacancies to a wide audience. You will also benefit from our year-round promotion of educational vacancies in Hertfordshire, through a range of advertising, recruitment events and partnerships with training providers.

You will also have access to a wide range of guidance and support specific to education recruitment, and benefit from strategic partnerships including:
