Description
Ardeley School & Nursery is a hidden gem nestled in the village of Ardeley, just 10 minutes from Stevenage and Buntingford. With around 70 pupils, our diverse population is drawn from the parish, surrounding villages, and local towns. Our Christian Faith underpins all we do at Ardeley. We recognise our special historic foundation and try to develop our Christian character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England. This is supported through our strong links with the Church of St Lawrence, Ardeley and with the diocese of St Albans. Our rural environment and location alongside Church Farm Ardeley enable many opportunities for extended learning. We have an amazing team here at Ardeley who work tirelessly to deliver a rich educational experience for the children. We were pleased to receive a good rating in 2022 from Ofsted and an outstanding from SIAMS in 2017. Our mix of experienced and early career teachers provides a good support structure and learning ethos. There is a small, effective administrative team in place, and a supportive, knowledgeable, and active governing board.
