Description
Ashfield is a two form entry Voluntary Controlled Junior School, catering for children between the ages of seven and eleven with an admission limit of 60 for each year group. Admission is for children of all abilities, primarily from our main feeder school, Merry Hill Infants & Nursery School, which is linked to Ashfield by the Local Education Authority Admission Policy. The single storey building is set on the side of a hillside and spread over 6 levels. The school is very well resourced; and is blessed with extensive and beautiful grounds. “Inspiring pur children to Dream Big, Be Extraordinary and Change the World” is our motto and the talented team of teachers and support staff work hard to create a positive and stimulating environment and a curriculum which is enriched with a wide range of experiences that help the children learn and grow as individuals. Our children develop the skills that they need not only for the next stage in their education, but for life in our ever-changing world. Ashfield was judged a “good” school in the latest Ofsted inspection in March 2022.
