Description

Bedmond is a friendly village school with 128 children currently on role.  Our children are keen, receptive and take a pride in their learning and in their school.

Our class groups are small, offering teachers and support staff the opportunity to really get to know our children as individuals which allows every member of staff to help make a real difference to the lives of our children.  We aim to create and sustain a happy, safe and stimulating environment in which we encourage each child to become a confident and fulfilled member of our close-knit school community.

We have a highly dedicated and committed staff who are supportive of the Team Bedmond ethos.  We are committed to offering support and development to all staff through continuous professional development and mentoring.

We pride ourselves on the strong links we have with our Mums, Dads and Carers.  We greatly value good communication and collaboration between school and home as we believe it provides the most positive experiences possible for our children.

Being a village school we are fortunate to have large grounds including our own nature reserve which allows us to run a Forest Schools programmed of outdoor learning opportunities that all of our children thoroughly enjoy.

The vacancies advertised are classed as having a high degree of contact with children or vulnerable adults and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
