Description
Hartsfield is a happy and caring school where we work together to ensure all children have equality of opportunity to fulfil their potential. We are a successful and over-subscribed two form entry JMI school that offers exciting learning opportunities for children aged 4-11 on a beautiful site in the historic market town of Baldock.
We are a friendly team with high expectations in everything we do, committed to continuous improvement and achieving all-round excellence. We understand that all children are individuals and therefore our broad curriculum and extensive extra-curricular programme seek to provide opportunities for children to experience success whatever their strengths. Our most recent Ofsted (January 2020) graded us as 'Good' and it was noted that 'staff feel valued and well supported' at Hartfield. The school is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
