Description

Lonsdale School – Learning for Life!

Lonsdale is a school for physically and neurologically impaired (PNI) children and young people from ages 3 to 18. We are committed to preparing our pupils so that they can develop resilience, optimum independence skills for their ability and succeed in their adult lives.

We want our pupils to achieve the best they can in their studies, but we also want them to develop character and a positive approach to their lives alongside their study.

Pupils are highly motivated and thoroughly enjoy coming to school; their attitudes are positive and they thrive on creative teaching styles. Secondary age have the opportunity to extend their learning by accessing the school’s onsite residential educational provision (REP).

We recognise that the best way we can provide our pupils with the highest level of education and care is through talented individuals who are passionate about teaching and learning. We pride ourselves in good staff retention and offer excellent professional development opportunities to all our staff.
