Description

Ludwick Nursery School provides many exciting opportunities for staff, children and families. 'Together we are building a better tomorrow' is at the heart of all we do for families and children in our community. Our values of Respect, Trust, Courage and Kindness underpin the ethos of the school. We have excellent relationships with parents and carers of up to 170 nursery school children who attend part time or who take up our 30 hour funded childcare places. We also offer 32 places for funded 2 year olds in our Tree Tops group. We share onsite provision with Squirrels Day Nursery and provide shared care for up to 40 children.

We offer a unique service of high quality nursery education, wrap around care and other family support. Ofsted judged Ludwick Nursery School to be outstanding in July 2017 for the fourth consecutive time. Ludwick has a Gold Staff Well Being award, Gold Herts Early Years Quality Standards award and a Gold Herts Inclusion award. We are proud to be a highly inclusive school, our Rainbow Group supports children with significant speech, language and social communication needs. The school has an experienced and supportive team, committed to providing children with the best possible start to their education.  You are welcome to visit to see the fantastic facilities and the opportunities that we offer.

Ludwick Nursery School also leads Acorns Early Years Training Centre and we are the Early Year's lead partner for Alban Teaching School Hub. We provide Initial Teaching Training, training for Early Career teachers,  School to School support and Professional Learning and Development.
