Description
The school was built in 1968 and is situated in a pleasing location in a quiet residential area on the north-east side of Ware. We are a popular one form entry school with approximately 220 pupils. Priors Wood was rated as 'Good' by Ofsted April 2016 - 'Pupils are developing good attitudes to learning. They work hard and are keen to succeed'. The school has a positive ethos, enjoys good relationships with its parents and is highly regarded by the local community. The school is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
